Photovoltaic
Grid connected
Grid-connected photovoltaic systems can either be small (individual home installation) or large (solar parks, fixed ground installation, etc.).
Solar photovoltaic installations with grid connections offer a special feature in the sense that they maintain an exchange with the local electrical grid. The basic principle is that when there is sunlight, the user consumes the solar energy generated by their own system. However, when there is either no light or not enough, or if the user requires more energy than the system can provide, the electrical grid will activate and provide the electricity necessary.
Stand-alone systems
Stand-alone photovoltaic systems (those off the grid) must always be designed according to the energy demands of the user and the location of the installation. Energy is supplied through photovoltaic modules which are backed-up by a battery bank or an autonomous energy system (generators) that can provide energy when solar radiation is low and cannot meet the installation’s needs.
JOFER uses these systems when there is no possibility to connect to a grid which can provide the power to supply all energy needs.
Solar thermal
With solar thermal panels it is possible to take advantage of solar energy to generate heat which can be used in homes for hot water, heating, swimming pool heaters, and more. Jofer can install this type of panel on homes or other surfaces, whichever is easier and more convenient for the customer.
Geothermal
Rather than produce heat, geothermal energy utilizes a heat pump which transports heat. It is a unique emergy system for heating and cooling and providing hot water in the sense that it uses the earth as an energy collector. By taking advantage of the nearly constant temperatures below ground at specific depths, these systems are able to achieve rather high performance.
JOFER handles the entire installation process, from initial design to fitting the final product. And, of course, we offer all necessary maintenance services to ensure that everything functions at its very best.
Aerothermal
Aerothermal energy is an excellent means of providing a large portion of the energy needed to heat and cool a home. It takes the natural energy present in the air and turns it into a renewable and efficient heating and cooling system, which in turn lowers energy consumption.
JOFER always aims to get the most out of your investment. That is why we go to great lengths to design installations tailorede to customers’ needs, in addition to managing and maintaining systems to ensure peak performance.
